Since February of 2009, Mt. Baker Ski Area has blessed INNATE with the most amazing opportunities to work along side their company. Starting with the Legendary Banked Slalom in 2009, we were asked to design the official artwork for the race. Since then, we’ve been designing and printing our own line of Mt.Baker-branded apparel which has been sold exclusively up at their mountain shops.

Through the design and production process, we’ve gotten to know the small (yet wonderful) team of marketing and sales folks at Mt. Baker and have refined and matured greatly through the last 4 seasons with them. It’s been an absolute pleasure working alongside such an infamous company, riding their slopes and being inspired by the natural beauty that’s so abundant up there. It is with the utmost respect and gratitude that we express a huge “THANK YOU!” to the people at Mt. Baker making it happen. Get up to the mountain this weekend for the last hurrah, and be sure to check out their retail shops to clean out the last of the INNATE gear! Peace, love, and sunshine!

One internship is the “INNATE Design Production Internship“
INNATE is offering a design production internship for the spring and summer 2012 season. The internship is a mix of pre-press job management and workflow; color separation and file preparation, film output and screen burning, as well as minor graphic design and production printing. Working alongside the production manager and INNATE staff, interns are expected to provide at least 10+ hours per week, with weekly evaluations and check-ins.

The other internship is the “INNATE Online Content Producer Internship“
INNATE will be offering an online producer internship for the spring 2012 season. The internship is a mix of research, reporting, photography design, writing, social media and web development that involves working with the online content manager and INNATE staff. Interns are expected to work 20 + hours per week (and produce at least 2-3 articles, videos and/or photo galleries per week.

INNATE team members Corey, Kevan and Wilson the trusty pup embarked on a marketing initiative to Ketchum, ID for the annual reggae + mountain niceness festival, which INNATE designed and printed the event posters and t-shirts for. We took a grip of Idahome branded gear and a bunch of stickers, patches and business cards, our ski gear and an M.O. to spread the gospel and come home with less than we left with. Enjoy the ride…

The Community Art Show takes place the last Tuesday of the every month at Glow in downtown Bellingham. The art show features Bellingham artists, photographers and musicians.
